The Facts website and report is a joint venture with Vivid Interface Ltd. This partnership has re-invented the way in which the events industry both collates its own data and reports on the 'Facts' gathered.

The aim of the Facts is to track the rise and fall of the exhibitions industry in the UK reporting on the visitor attendance at events and the gross size and net hall sales.

The market in 2009 was clearly tough in some areas and where we have been able to compare year-on-year show attendance and size, the overall picture is one of decline with an 8.2% fall in trade show attendance and a consumer show attendance fall of 2.9% with a slightly larger fall in net space sales.

The plan during 2010 is to change to quarterly presentation of the data currently in The Facts with an annual report and to add to this more information relevant to marketing teams like web activity and conversions from registration to actual attendance comparing performance of different media in attracting visitors.
